We also chatted about it for UNTAMED, but again, life, as it does, got in the way. As we were both insanely busy, it never really got off the ground. Anywhoo.Ī year ago Miss Clare brought the idea of a book trailer up with me, we talked about doing something for SURRENDER 2.0 the reissue of the first of the MacKinnon stories. One that is difficult to duplicate, and really I haven’t seen from very many authors. The secondary characters, by right of being fully realized, add SO MUCH to the overall story that you feel a PART of it. She fleshes out every man in the book, not merely the hero and his heroine. The characters are so rich and passionate, every one of them. To say I’m in love with these books would be mild. A love story during the French and Indian War? YES. The story is beyond anything I could have imagined, because she is SO good with history and painting a beautiful image on a hardcore backdrop. Pamela sent it to me a few months ago to read, and I just loved it. First off, let me say that this book is incredible. ![]()
